With the declaration of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) implementation in the National Capital Region from August 6 to 20, including Laguna, Iloilo City, and Cagayan de Oro from August 6 to August 15, alongside with restrictions on checkpoints at borders of every Local Government Unit (LGU), let us be aware of the following guidelines provided by the Inter-Agency Task Force of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
Only Authorized Persons Outside Residences (APOR) are allowed to leave their homes during ECQ.
- Health and emergency frontline services and uniformed personnel;
- Government officials and employees on official travel;
- Duly-authorized humanitarian assistance actors (HAAs);
- Persons traveling for medical or humanitarian reasons, including those leaving their residence to be vaccinated (with proof of schedule) and persons availing of DFA consular services (with confirmed appointments);
- Persons going to and from the airport including overseas Filipino workers carrying Overseas Filipino Certificates;
- Anyone crossing zones going to or from work, business, or activity that is permitted in areas under ECQ; and
- Public utility vehicle operators
“Hatid-Sundo” of working APOR by non-APOR is allowed.
Non-APOR drivers can fetch working APOR provided they present the following requirements to be able to pass through quarantine control points:
- Certificate of employment for the APOR worker with the following details:
- Name of designated non-APOR driver
- Contact number of employer
- Make and plate numbr of vehicle to be used
- Copy of employer’s business permit
