Starting August 10, 2021, the Embassy of Japan in Manila announces the acceptance of visa applications for limited categories and purposes.
Applications that may be accepted and will be subject for review of the Consul are those with Certificate of Eligibility for:
a. Spouse/Child of a Working Visa holder of Japan
b. Spouse/Child of a Permanent resident of Japan
c. Dependent visa for humanitarian reason
For other visa applications such as for short-term business, tourism, work qualifications, entertainers, study abroad, technical intern training are still not allowed to apply.
