Ambassador-Designate Laure Beaufils recently announced that the Philippines has now been removed from UK's travel red list.

She revealed a piece of great news that Filipinos who are fully vaccinated and with valid visas could now travel to England without losing our precious vacation time and spending additional Pounds just to undergo quarantine.

Only a state-level vaccination certificate will be required from travelers to prove their vaccination status with the recognized vaccines in the UK such as Oxford/ AstraZeneca, Pfizer BioNTech, Moderna, and Janssen, prior to departure. Those who have been vaccinated with mixed doses of 2 different UK-approved vaccines, those who had 2 vaccinations under 2 different programs, and those who have been immunized with a formulation of AstraZeneca Covishield, AstraZeneca Vaxzevria, or Moderna Takeda shall also be admitted. Upon arrival, qualified travelers will only need to take a Covid test on their 2nd day.

If you are not yet vaccinated or has been vaccinated with other brands not yet recognized by the UK, don’t feel sad just yet! You are still welcome in England provided that you comply with their requirements. Pre-departure, travelers must present a COVID test with negative result taken less than 3 days before the trip, as well as a completed Passenger Locator Form, 48 hours prior your arrival to England.  Upon arrival, a 10-day quarantine should commence and be completed, with negative results from PCR tests to be administered on Day 2 and 8 of isolation.

Check out how you can explore England and look forward to spending time in wonderland with your family or friends this coming holiday season:
