Province of Gangwon, South Korea announces a "No Visa Entry" program that allows Filipinos to visit Korea starting June 1, 2022. Departures from the Philippines are via Clark International Airport and point of entry via Yangyang Airport.
Availing of the "No Visa Entry" program is bound to the terms and conditions with a waiver required by Gangwon Government.
Among the initial requirements for travelers are as follows:
- Valid passport (more than 6 months from date of departure)
- Fully vaccinated 1st and 2nd dose (vaccination certificate from DOH or yellow card)
- Travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage (https://bit.ly/rtc_travelinsurance)
- Important: A checklist of requirements will be sent with a waiver required by Gangwon Government. All passenger lists will be for approval. Processing time will be within 2-3 days. Note that passengers with previous Korean visa denial will be subject to approval for the visa-free entry program.
