On Sunday, 28 November 2021, the Philippine government announced 14 countries which are added in the RED LIST countries amid the COVID-19 variant Omicron.
Entry of travelers are suspended from the following countries tagged in the RED LIST by the IATF:
1. South Africa
2. Botswana
3. Namibia
4. Zimbabwe
5. Lesotho
6. Eswatini
7. Mozambique
8. Austria
9. Czech Republic
10. Hungary
11. the Netherlands
12. Switzerland
13. Belgium
14. Italy
The travel suspension is effective Nov. 28 until Dec. 15.
Only Filipinos returning to the country via repatriation flights may be allowed entry, subject to prevailing protocols for “red list” countries, the IATF added.
