IATF Has Announced New Testing And Quarantine Rules For Inbound Travelers

New testing and quarantine protocols for arriving international passengers from countries, territories, and jurisdictions on the "green" and "yellow" lists were approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) on December 3.


The green list includes countries, territories, and jurisdictions with a low risk of Covid-19 infection, whereas the yellow list includes places with a moderate risk.

 

 

 

 

 

IATF has announced new testing and quarantine rules for inbound travelers.

Individuals who have been fully vaccinated must have a negative RT-PCR test conducted within 72 hours of before leaving their country of origin. They will be subjected to facility-based quarantine upon arrival in the Philippines, with an RT-PCR test performed on the 5th day, with the date of arrival being the first day.


Individuals who are unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, or whose vaccination status cannot be validated must have a negative RT-PCR test within 72 hours of prior to leaving their home country. They will be subjected to facility-based quarantine upon arrival in the Philippines, with an RT-PCR test performed on the 7th day, with the date of arrival being the first day.


Regardless of the result and vaccination status, all travelers are subjected to home quarantine until the 14th day after their arrival.


Minors, on the other hand, must follow the testing and quarantine routine of their parent or guardian who is traveling with them, regardless of the minor's vaccination status or place of origin.


Only Filipinos from red-list countries, territories, and jurisdictions will only be allowed to enter the Philippines via government-initiated or non-government repatriations, and Bayanihan Flights.
