In response to the continued significant worldwide challenges related to COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines canceled non-immigrant B1/B2 (Business/Tourist) visa interview appointments scheduled through September 30, 2021.
Applicants may reschedule their canceled visa interview once the embassy resumes its routine visa services.
The resumption of routine visa services is per country basis. However, U.S. embassies and consulates will still continue to provide emergency and mission-critical visa services.
No fee will be charged for appointment change and the validity of the visa fee payment (MRV fee) is extended until September 30, 2022 to allow applicants who are affected by the suspension of routine consular operations to get an opportunity to schedule and/or attend a visa interview with the already paid fee.
