The Travel Tour Expo (TTE) is one of the best places to go to help you tick off all those boxes in your travel bucket list. This year, the TTE is happening on February 5 - 7 at the SMX complex in Mall of Asia.
If our last article convinced you to give TTE a shot, here are 5 tips to conquer the TTE like a boss:
1. First things first… SCHEDULE OUT YOUR YEAR.
- Before you even go to the TTE, make sure you have an idea what your year is like. Calculate those leave credits, have a list of preferred travel dates, and know when your long weekends are for a smoother booking experience.
2. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT
- Yes, the TTE is a great place to collect and select packages, but you will be drowning in travel deals; knowing where you want to go beforehand will make it much easier for you to narrow down your options.
3. HAVE THE FOLLOWING READY:
- PASSPORT: Bring copies of your passports as well and make sure it’s valid for at least 6 months from your chosen date of departure.
- CASH: Most banks have a maximum withdrawal limit per day, remember to check the withdrawal limit of yours or withdraw ahead of time.
- CREDIT CARD: If you decide to pay for everything by credit card, make sure you have available credit limit to make your purchase.
4. DIVIDE AND CONQUER
- Go with a (travel) group so you can scout multiple exhibitors at once.
5. The EARLY BIRD gets the best travel deals
- Because the TTE is one of the biggest and best sources for travel deals, there are always long and winding lines in most of the major exhibitors. If you want first dibs, it is best to arrive early and preferably on the first day.
