The morning departure is recommended when departing from Manila to Vietnam.
Upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you'll be greeted by your local guide, who will assist with your transfer to the city center. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day city tour of Ho Chi Minh City, starting with a visit to the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon. While exploring the cathedral's exterior, admire its neo-Romanesque design, characterized by the striking red brick façade. Next, marvel at the Old Post Office, a beautiful example of French colonial architecture with its Roman arches and gilded glass windows. Continue to the Reunification Palace, a significant historical monument that offers a glimpse into Vietnam’s turbulent past. This architectural gem was at the heart of the dramatic moments during the Vietnam War. After an exciting day of sightseeing, enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for the night.
Following breakfast at your hotel, embark on a morning excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network that stretches over 200 km and was used by the Viet Cong during the war. The tunnels, ranging from 3 to 8 meters deep, offer a fascinating glimpse into the resilience and ingenuity of those who lived and fought here. Afterward, return to Ho Chi Minh City for a visit to the War Remnants Museum, a must-see for anyone interested in Vietnam's wartime history. This museum is home to numerous exhibits documenting the struggles during the Vietnam War, particularly the conflict involving the United States and China. Later, visit the People’s Committee Hall, an impressive French-style building, and the Saigon Opera House, which stands as one of the city’s architectural landmarks. After a full day of exploration, enjoy a hearty lunch and dinner at local eateries.
After breakfast, set off for a memorable day trip to My Tho, located about 75 km from Saigon, in the heart of the Mekong Delta. On the way, stop at the Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Tien Giang Province, known for its beautiful trees and tranquil ambiance. Arriving in My Tho, enjoy a leisurely boat ride along the river, visiting Thoi Son Islet and the lush fruit gardens where you can savor the region's fresh produce. A special highlight of the trip is a local meal featuring the famous ""Elephant Ear Fish,"" a unique and delicious dish. Before returning to Saigon, visit the bustling Ben Thanh Market for some shopping, where you can find everything from souvenirs to local handicrafts. After another full day, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to your hotel.
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before spending some free time at your own pace. You may want to explore a bit more of the city or relax before your flight. In the afternoon, your guide will escort you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure, bringing an end to your memorable trip to Ho Chi Minh City.
The evening flight is recommended when departing from Vietnam to Manila.
