DAY 1    Manila (L, D)

Welcome to the capital city.  We will conquer this day with faith as we are to  meet and spend the day with a local expert and head our way to Intramuros. This historic place in Manila played a vital role in preserving traces of Christianity. We get to dig into the stories behind the captions of the impressive and priceless religious artifacts at the Museo de Intramuros.  With exclusive and special access, we are also able to know how these museum artifacts and assets are archived and digitized and the importance it brought up today.

DAY 2     Manila to Cebu (B , L , D)

Our day starts on an early flight to Cebu, the place where our Christian faith evolved.  We will be met by a local expert and join an important exploration of the Cebu city center with a deep discussion of Christianity and the stories of first coming in of the Spaniards in the country.

Our momentum remains as we drive and visit some of the important churches, that opened their Jubilee Doors during the celebration of the 500 years of Christianity in the Philippines.

DAY 3     Cebu to Bohol (B , L , D)

We now visit the equally fascinating island of Bohol. The one-hour ride ferry with your local expert will be full of stories on our quest to understand our Christian past.

Upon arrival, we will have our lunch at a local restaurant serving Spanish cuisine.

We head to Anda to visit the archeological site of  Lamanok Island in Anda. We will discover some practices of centuries-old customs and how these beliefs converted the islanders to Catholicism. Before heading to our hotel, our last stop for the day is in Baclayon, the first town established by the Spaniards on the island marking its prominent role in the Boholano's history.

Overnight accommodation - Panglaio Island

DAY 4     Bohol to Manila (B)

We do not bid farewell to what we have learned from this tour, but today we head on to Tagbilaran Airport for our flight back to Manila.
