The morning flight is recommended when departing from Manila to Narita.

Upon arrival in Japan, meet your private driver and transfer for lunch before proceeding to Tokyo Station to board the Tohoku Shinkansen in Gran Class for a comfortable journey to Morioka. Upon arrival, transfer to Shikitei Ryokan or a similar traditional inn and check in. This evening, enjoy an authentic Iwate kaiseki dinner featuring fresh Sanriku Coast sashimi, premium local beef or seasonal river fish, tempura made with wild mountain vegetables, and Iwate-grown rice served with miso soup and local pickles, offering a memorable introduction to the region's renowned culinary traditions. Overnight at the ryokan.   

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a full-day exploration of Morioka's cultural treasures, beautifully enhanced by the vibrant colors of autumn. Enjoy a scenic stroll through Morioka Castle Ruins Park, where brilliant red, orange, and golden foliage surrounds the historic grounds, before visiting the Suzuki Morihisa Studio to discover the craftsmanship of traditional Nambu ironware. Continue to the Iwachu Ironware Museum (closed on Tuesdays) and the Michinoku Folklore Village (closed on Mondays), where preserved thatched-roof houses and tree-lined pathways create a picturesque autumn setting. Return to Shikitei Ryokan or a similar property for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Hachimantai, a scenic mountain destination known for its natural beauty and seasonal landscapes. Visit Kikuno Tsukasa for a sake tasting experience, where you can discover the craftsmanship and flavors of locally brewed sake from Iwate. Continue to Appi Kogen and enjoy a refreshing stroll along Buna no Eki, surrounded by the stunning autumn scenery of the Hachimantai highlands, where vibrant foliage transforms the forests into a breathtaking display of colors. After the visit, check in at ANA InterContinental Appi Kogen Resort or a similar property and enjoy a relaxing overnight stay. 

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a scenic journey through Hachimantai’s breathtaking autumn landscapes. Drive along the Hachimantai Aspite Line, a spectacular mountain route surrounded by vibrant fall foliage and panoramic views of the highlands. Visit the Matsuo Hachimantai Local Products Center Aspite to browse and shop for regional specialties and local delicacies, then continue to Matsukawa Valley, renowned for its picturesque scenery, colorful autumn forests, and tranquil natural beauty. Return to ANA InterContinental Appi Kogen Resort or a similar property for a relaxing overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for a final cultural experience in Iwate with a visit to the Morioka Machiya Monogatari Museum, where you can explore the history, architecture, and traditional lifestyle of Morioka’s historic merchant townhouses. Transfer to Morioka Station and board the Tohoku Shinkansen in Gran Class for a comfortable journey back to Tokyo. Upon arrival, visit Hirakuza Ginza for an evening of Japanese entertainment, with an optional sumo show and dinner experience showcasing the excitement of Japan’s national sport and traditional cuisine. After the program, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. 

Complete your final morning in Japan with breakfast at the hotel before departing for Tokyo’s international airport. After check-in procedures, prepare for your journey home with wonderful memories of cultural discoveries, mountain landscapes, seasonal beauty, and unforgettable moments. End of service.
