Drive to Clark for your overnight accommodation – Quest Hotel
Rise early and head on to Clark International Airport to board an hour flight to Iloilo City, your gateway to the island of Guimaras.
From Iloilo, continue your journey by land and sea transfer to the world-famous land of the sweetest Mangoes – Guimaras. With a guest local historian, hear tales of the province and the interesting legends of this heart-shaped fruit.
Drive to your hotel for check-in and overnight.
With a local expert, start your day with a morning visit to the National Mango Research and Development Center. Learn how this facility is essential to the success of the Agri-Tourism industry in the province. Guimaras is one of the Philippines provinces that is capable to export Mangoes to the United States of America and Autralia. Your next stop, aptly named Pit Stop Café, is where you will be challenged to flavor your own Mango Spaghetti and watch a cooking demo. End the day with a visit to the Trappist monastery, run by the Monks of the Cisterian Order. These monks have devoted themselves to a monastic community life for a very long time.
Overnight at the hotel.
Bid farewell to Guimaras as we sail back to Iloilo city. Travel back in old times when we visit Camiña Bahay na Bato, one of the city’s architectural wonders showcasing Ilonggo’s culture, heritage, and gastronomy. Before heading back to the airport for your flight to Manila, we savor authentic local dishes cooked and prepared by the Camiña family, like Pancit Molo, a soup with wonton wrappers that originated from Molo district in Iloilo City.
