DAY 1     Manila (D)

Join a local expert on President Jose P. Laurel as we begin our tour with cocktails at the Manila Hotel. Visit the MacArthur Suite famous for its stories of World War II. Overnight at the hotel. 

DAY 2     Manila (B , L)

Follow President Jose P. Laurel’s patriotic endeavors, sacrifices, and achievements as we visit his ancestral house in Paco. Continue our visit to the National Museum and walk through the Jose P. Laurel Museum to admire his presidential aspirations.

Dine like a president at Casa Roses. Enjoy freshly prepared Filipino-Spanish cuisine served with traditional Filipino tea—Salabat (Fresh Ginger Tea). Cap the day and pay tribute by visiting the Malacañang Palace. Return to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 3     Manila-Batangas (B , L , D)

Rise early and prepare for our journey to Tanauan, Batangas. With a local expert, explore the hometown of President Jose P. Laurel and travel back in time as we discover his childhood.

A local cook will serve some of Laurel’s favorite meals, including Batangas’ native and famous Bulalo, a light-colored soup made by cooking beef shanks and marrow bones until the collagen and fat have melted into the clear broth.

Relax and enjoy the afternoon at leisure at Club Balai Resort. Overnight at the resort.

DAY 4     Batangas-Manila (B)

Delight in the view of Taal Volcano while having breakfast. Bid farewell to your travel companions as we transfer back to Manila.
